Havering Athletic Club

Javelin thrower Max Law has been selected to represent Great Britain at the European U18 Championships in Hungary from 5-8 July. Club athletes won 25 medals, including 15 gold, at the recent Essex Schools Championships. Following this a record number of 15 club athletes have been selected to compete in the English Schools Championships on 13th/14th July. Shandell Taylor won silver in the long jump at the recent England Athletics U20 Championships.

The men's British League team are in a promotion position after 2 of their 4 fixtures. The UK Women's League team also have promotion chances after their opening fixture. The Eastern Young Athletes League team are top of the league, as are the Youth Development League U17-U20 team. U13s-15s are 3rd in the Southern Premier Division. 2 club sprint relay teams - the U13 girls and U15 girls have been invited to compete in the Club Connect Relays at the Anniversary Games Diamond League meeting on Sunday 22nd July at the Olympic stadium.

Havering 90 Joggers/Parkrun

 A group is travelling to an event at Bournemouth using the Ford Community Bus. Free to use.

Midweek 5 miles on 12th June in Raphael Park. 300 runners mainly from East London Clubs. Looking forward to the Spitfire Scramble 24 hour race in Hornchurch Country Park where we have a number of teams.

Parkruns in Harrow Lodge, Raphael Park and Harrow Lodge Juniors have all broken attendance records recently.
