Please describe the reasons for your nomination of the person, club or school for an award Please be as specific as possible and also note that for all awards except the Peter Bruce Lifetime Achievement Award, the submitted performance must have been within the year 2024(school year Sept 23-Sept 24). The judges will make their choice solely on the information you provide so please make sure you tell them as much as you can. All valid claims will be subject to ratification.
Eligibility
Awards are open to all, irrespective of whether their Club is affiliated to Havering Sports Council.
Individual sports persons (Junior, Senior Disabled & Volunteer-of-the-Year) may be nominated if belonging to a Havering-based Club, irrespective of their place of residence. Equally a sports person residing in the Borough of Havering, but belonging to a Club elsewhere may also be nominated.
For the Club-of-the-Year, that Club must be based in the London Borough of Havering.
The Peter Bruce Lifetime Achievement Award" is open to residents of Havering only, who've given a minimum of 20 years' service to local sport.
Apart from Schools' awards, after winning a category for 2 successive years, winners may not be nominated a 3rd time. They can be nominated again after a year's break.
In 2025, entries close January 7.
Please provide an email address for the nominee, so we can contact them easily for return of trophy the following year and to notify them of the outcome of the adjudication process. Otherwise, your own email address is OK (especially for under 18s) if you don't mind us contacting them via you the nominator.
