THE HAVERING SPORTS COUNCIL BURSARIES SCHEME

All applicants must live in the London Borough of Havering.

Applicants must have represented the County (or equivalent) or above, within the current year. **
Applications must be in connection with a sport recognised by Sport England (a full list can be found on www.sportengland.org).
Awards will normally be between £50 and £100.
Applications can be towards the following types of expenditure:

i) Training expenses.

ii) Travel relating to recognised National/Regional/County squad training sessions or matches.

iii) Competing abroad as a member of an official, national governing body recognised, England/GB team (confirmation required from NGB).

iv) Purchase of equipment.
All applications must be countersigned by an appropriate NGB qualified coach/official.
Annual funds are limited within each financial year. The closing dates for applications will be 1st July, 1st November and 1st March.
Only one individual application will be considered in each financial year.
