Nominations can be accepted in one or more of the following categories. Certain
categories are restricted to a set criteria . The award categories are:
Junior Male Sports Competitor of the Year
A male resident of the London Borough of Havering aged 15 or under as at 31st December 2009 who has competed for a club or school either within or outside of the Borough and displayed sporting excellence in the year 2009.

Junior Female Sports Competitor of the Year
A female resident of the London Borough of Havering aged 15 or under as at 31st December 2009 who has competed for a club or school either within or outside of the Borough and displayed sporting excellence in the year 2009.

A resident of the London Borough of Havering aged 16 or over as at the 31st December 2009 who has competed for a club either within or outside the Borough and displayed sporting excellence in the year 2009.

A resident of the London Borough of Havering who has as a volunteer made an outstanding contribution to their club, organisation or school in the year 2009.
